Alecto Stryker
Her parents worked very hard to give her the opportunity to go through college, taking out second mortgages on their house and putting their pensions on the line. Alecto did her best to make them proud. However, her father's job screwed up his pension, and he was left almost penniless by her second year of school. The resulting stress gave him a heart attack, leaving Alecto and her mother by themselves. Bellona Stryker did not give up and worked two jobs to put her daughter through college. Alecto did not disappoint, graduating with honors in journalism and communications. She started as a journalist for local newspapers, but soon moved up to broadcast journalism, securing a comfortable anchor job on a prominent station.
Alecto's drive and uncompromising attitude earned her both respect and ire in the journalistic community, a fact that she knew very well and often played to serve her purposes. She argued on the side of many controversial issues and has more than once been reprimanded for her sometimes overzealous statements. She is a firm believer in the ideal that the government should serve and protect the people, especially those less fortunate than others.

| Strengths & Weaknesses | ||
| In addition to her attractiveness, Alecto is quite intelligent, traits that have certainly helped her become successful. She is passionate about what she believes in. The same passionate nature that she is well known for is also very likely her greatest downfall, as she can be seen as dangerously stubborn, almost to the point of arrogance, and lacking in judgment. She does her best to always make the right choice, but doesn't always side with what everyone else thinks and this gets her in trouble. |

History
Alecto Stryker was born to Connor Stryker, a dock worker and Bellona Stryker, a public school teacher on the colony of Picon. Thanks to her parents' working class occupations, Alecto was exposed to the grittiness of everyday Colonial society, experiencing what the everyday person did, trying to make ends meet. Her father was a hard worker and encouraged his daughter's intelligent and inquisitive nature, but it was her mother that really focused Alecto on the issues facing the everyman. Her parents worked very hard to give her the opportunity to go through college, taking out second mortgages on their house and putting their pensions on the line.
