General Overview
Cal is very cocky and confident of himself in the cockpit. But out of the cockpit Cal can be quiet and shy, especially around people he doesn't know very well.

Strengths: His confidence and cocky nature combined with his superior reflexes make him an invaluable pilot. Weaknesses: His over confidence and adventurous side can often lead him to making brash decisions. But he always does what he feels is the right thing to do. He sometimes acts and says things without thinking.

To survive the war and kill as many Cylons as possible along the way.
Hobbies & Interests
Other than flying, Cal enjoys his alcohol on his downtime as well as a game of pyramid or even a hand of triad in the pilot�s quarters. He also likes to play his guitar when possible.

Cal was born and grew up in city of Delphi on Caprica. He was raised by his mother and his grandparents and has never met his biological father, nor does he know anything about him.

As a child he attended Delphi Union High School where he was constantly in trouble with his teachers. He was described as having the potential to attain high grades if he put effort into his work. But Cal didn't take any of the advice given, he instead turned to music. He played in two bands over the following years which led him into more trouble.

Growing up in Delphi, Cal spent a lot of time hanging around the spaceport and the military base watching the various aircraft coming and going, he often dreamt of leaving Caprica and losing himself in the endless abyss of space. Spending so much time hanging around the spaceport he soon fell in love with flying and found a fascination with the Viper.

As soon as he was old enough he enrolled in the Colonial Fleet Academy and continued onto Flight School. His superiors recognised his talents in the cockpit as well as his cockyness. The later got him into some trouble here and there, but the fact that he was an outstanding pilot and with the right guidance he could be become better led his superiors to give him the breaks he needed.

After completion of Flight School he went onto Advanced Flight School. He was trained in Viper Mk.2's and Mk.7's as well as Raptors. After a year he was sent off to the Battlestar Vanguard, being one of the older Battlestars in the fleet it was used as a training ship by the Advanced Flight School.

He was onboard the Vanguard for three months when the Cylons launched their attack on the Colonies. His fighter was disabled whilst defending the Vanguard from Cylon raiders.

After floating in space for several hours, with only the debris from the Vanguard and the rest of her fighters for company, Cals prayers were finally answered. The civilian liner Seventh Heaven stumbled upon the powerless fighter and brought the young unconscious pilot onboard.

When he eventually woke up, he found himself on the luxury liner and discovered that everything and everyone he ever knew was more than likely gone. As soon as he learned that the Battlestar Magaera had survived and was amongst the rag tag fleet that was assembled in the Ingazi Patch, he made it his goal to report in and get back into the fight.
