Alexander was born the only son of five children to a pair of farmers on Gemenon. Being the only boy Alexander felt he had to fight to get attention and often found himself getting into trouble around the family farm, like taking tractor for Joy Ride. In his teens these acts of attention seeking rebellion led to him seducing the other Farmers Daughters and getting chased by the often armed Farmers.

He didn't want to follow his fathers foot step in becoming a farmer and he spent his early Life looking up at the Star (often with a farmer's daughter) and learning to fly freighters at a nearby spaceport.

When He was old enough Alexander joined the Colonial Fleet and became a Nugget Pilot learning to fly both Raptors and Vipers. At the Academy He earned a reputation as a playboy particularly when he sneaked two attractive twins in to a Raptor Flight Simulator and was caught by the flight instructor in the throws of passion.

Despite this misdemeanour his record was flawless and his good test scores allowed him to stay in the training programme and eventually joined the colonial fleet. His Callsign Of X-Ray was derived from the X in his first name and the last three letters of his surname.

Alexander has spent his career being passed from Battlestar to Battlestar as his attitude often causes the CAG to request his transfer. His last Transfer was recently to the Megaera.

The Story so far
Two weeks prior to the Cylon attacks Alex was put onto a rapid transfer from the Triton by request of the Commander after he was caught by the Ship’s XO with his daughter. His transfer was to the Megaera were he did attempt to keep his head down, although he did not abstain from sex he just didn’t set his eye on ‘risky women’.

For our sins
He first came on to the radar when after they arrived at the Ingazi patch he was assigned to escort Colonial 733 Heavy, although this task was uneventful his flight discovered a damaged Raptor sending out a distress call. Alex relayed the distress to Megaera but due to an administrative error a S&R raptor was not sent so Alex took matters into his own hands. He Illegally Commandeered a the Civilian Ship Desma Pisto by landing his Viper on it. The Ship under Alex’s guidance rescued Lt Jones the Raptors only passenger.

Unable to get the Raptor back up and running the Desma Pisto had to drop the two colonial officers off on the Ingazi station. Soon after departing the civilian vessel Alex and Jones found themselves in the middle of a hostage negotiation when the Captain of the Callisto held his passengers at gunpoint including Rondelle Halley-Riker.

Against Order Alex attempted to Quell the hostilities by taking a shot at the Captain and this soon led to the release of all the hostages when Lt Jones negotiated their release. The after math of these events had him being rewarded with a kiss from Mrs Halley-riker and then punished by first having his flight status revoked by Commander Blake, then later being put in charge of the Nugget Training Programme the CAG (Captain Cassini) set up.

A Further punishment meant he could not go to the memorial ceremony and instead was put in charge of the fly-by. While on this assignment the Cylons struck once again with a force of raiders and Alex managed to protect the civilian fleet with two other pilot as well as personally shoot down a nuke headed for Seventh Heaven where the ceremony took place.

Hide and seek
Alex returned to the ship and was sent out again for a brief CAP, then he made a report for the CAG to present to others informing them of deaths and injuries the Air-wing took. Once again he soon found himself in a Viper flying the CAGs wing to make a report for the Commander about possible escape routes, this flight discovered Mines and Patrols, which Alex accidently ran into damaging his own viper.

On returning he met up with fellow pilot Lt Ashitaka with whom he went to the officer club to get some R&R by having a drink and paying cards with two of the Raptor Pilots. He was soon called back to the Flight deck by the XO(Major Mckinnon) so he could begin his new assignment as the flight instructor. After introducing himself to the new recruits (and handing out call signs) he found himself summond by the XO again but this time to her room. Alex and Mckinnon engaged in sexual intercourse as a form of stress release and nothing more.

Soon Alex was engaged in battle against the Cylons again when Megaera escaped the Ingazi patch, Alex survived despite the colonial losses and overwhelming odds. He did not leave this battle injury free and found himself with a disloacated shoulder which he had to see Captain Thessaly. The biggest event of the day wasn't the battle but instead the unexpected arrival of the sister he hadn't seen in years since he left Gemenon.

Respite & Redemption
Alex held a small party in the officer’s mess for Mckinnon and Nelson stating that especially in times like this you needed to celebrate things worth celebrating. At the party he got talking to Strategic Operations Specialist Keran Weller and invited her back to his bunk where he ended up spending the night with her.

While preparing to teach the Nuggets with Cassini they were interrupted by Blake who informed them that Alex only had a week to train the Nugget’s before they were put on active duty. Reluctantly Alex agreed unhappy with the situation he had been put in but knowing that if someone less qualified to teach took the job all the trainees would end up dead.

Later that day he broke Shuto out of the infirmary and they went to play a game of cards with some of the crew where Alex got very drunk and had to be carried home by two squadron leaders. When he awoke in the morning the XO was there to discuss any ideas he may have had to up the morale of the crew where she discovered Alex had slept with Weller.

That day Alex met up with the Rondelle Halley-Riker again and offered to teach her how to fly a Viper, they went to the Simm room and gave her a short lesson. After that he met up with the Deck Chief and arranged a breakfast date with her the following morning, when he arrived he found her dead.

 

Has both trained and had field time in piloting both the Vipers, Raptors as well as other small space fairing vessels. He has served in a total 12 Battlestars and Planetary Defence Groups in a relatively small career, this also means he has not had much chance to raise through the ranks.
