General Overview
Having been an only child, Kara grew up having trouble making friends though as she grew older and once in the military academy it became easier for her. By nature she's friendly and enjoys a good conversation. She enjoys the company of males but has no desire to be with them which has made it a challenge for her to have them as friends.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Weakness - Has always had a hard time socializing in large groups but has been doing better with it with the help of her former therapist who was killed during the Cylon attacks. To Kara it was like having her safety line cut and even though she's trying and has come along way, it's still difficult for her at times. She fights between moving on and finding a new relationship after losing her spouse, Lisa or remaining ever loyal to the love they shared. Has a strong, unhealthy hatred for the Cylons. Strengths - Friendly, helps others less fortunate. Very loyal to her ship and crew mates, and the oath she took. Adept in tactical operations and is skilled in hand to hand and small arms combat from her time in the Marines.
Ambitions
To become the commander of a fleet ship someday. Have children. And live to see the day the human race finds a new home and defeats the Cylons.

As an only child, Kara's parents had a tendency to spoil her even though they weren't wealthy. This caused them and her teachers a difficult time with teaching her sharing and being a team player in games and activities.

Even after enlisting in the Marines it took some time to drill these factors out of Kara. She'd be tagged by her drill instructors as 'Miss Prim'. Which, she hated and was determined to get rid of. By the end of her stint in bootcamp, Kara had excelled and become more trusted by others in her platoon.

She was then dispatched with her company to the Battlestar Infinity. That was when she decided after a time that being a crewmember of a Battlestar was next on her agenda. She trained and was accepted to a position in the Tactical department after a year of being an assistant which she quickly got the hang of and found to be her niche'. It was a challenge she came to enjoy. She also met her girlfriend Lisa Corrin who was a engineer tech on the ship.

At the attack of the Cylons, the Infinity had been badly damaged and all hands were ordered to evacuate to nearby vessels. Kara was taken aboard the Megaera with a handful of her fellow crewmen only to watch the horror of the continued attacks until the Megaera and her little fleet escaped the fate other vessels had faced.
