Lieutenant JG Mitchell Kane
During a training accident, Mitch received a very serious blow to the head, which left him comatose for three months. When he awoke, he remembered very little of what had happened and his personality settled remarkably. Gradually, his memories returned to him and when he had fully recovered, he expressed a desire to return to flight school of his own accord. A genuine military man when he graduated, Mitch was assigned to the planetary defense fleet for two years and though his temperament had changed from the blow to his head, the call sign ‘Sugar’ stuck with him.
He was assigned to three different battlestars during the next ten years. During his third assignment, his CAG told him he was a better pilot than he let anyone believe. His reply was, “I know, sir.” He was promoted to Lt. j.g. at this time, and three months later, he was assigned to Megaera, and has been aboard for a month and a half.

| Physical Description | Mitch Kane is tall, with a powerful build, and an almost permanent scowl on his face. He’s big, strong, and carries himself in a manner that’s often quite intimidating, especially to those who don’t know him. To those who do, it’s hardly intimidating at all, as he is one of the most soft-spoken people you could ever meet. | |
| Personality & Traits | ||
| General Overview | ||
| Mitch tends to be soft-spoken, almost shy. He doesn’t often open his mouth. For this reason, not many people really know much about him (as there are plenty of other pilots with louder personalities). He’s polite enough if you run into him, but won’t often initiate conversations. | ||

History
Mitchell Kane was a very different person as a child. The middle child out of seven children, he was aggressive and could often be found either playing pranks on other children or getting in fights with them. At seven years of age, he went through a series of four psychiatrists. The fourth psychiatrist managed to make a little headway with him and he made it through school and was suspended only three times. With no real opportunities awaiting him after school, he fell back into his habits of troublemaking. Unable to handle him any longer, his father signed him up to join the military and he was enrolled in flight school, where his last name and his temperament earned him the call sign, ‘Sugar’.During a training accident, Mitch received a very serious blow to the head, which left him comatose for three months. When he awoke, he remembered very little of what had happened and his personality settled remarkably.
