Physical Description		Sam Carpenter is small, slender, and beautiful; three facts that often take her clients by surprise when they first meet her. She is toned and fit, but not exactly the strongest person you’ll ever meet (sort of a given due to her size). Samantha Carpenter has had an irrational fear of darkness for as long as she can remember. It’s what drove her, at the age of eleven to require weekly visits to a psychiatrist. However, the experience was not a pleasant one for her, and at seventeen, when she was trying to decide what to study in college, she chose psychiatry in the hopes that she could make a better psychiatrist than her own had been.

Sam graduated with a doctorate in psychiatry at age twenty-four and attempted to start her own private practice. When it failed miserably due to her lack of understanding on running a business, she applied to be a military psychiatrist and was accepted. After serving in several military medical facilities during the next four years, she was transferred to Battlestar Megaera and has been aboard ever since.
