Physical Description		A politician always has to take care of their appearance, and Aeson is no exception. He is without a doubt a good looking man with strong features. However, one can't say that he is easily approachable with the constant stern look on his face. He keeps his hair short and his face clean-shaven, and his green eyes can face even the hardest stare. He keeps his body in rigorous shape, through regular physical exercises. When it comes to clothing, he avoids anything that catches the eye, preferring to dress in the simple suits or other professional clothes, you won't find him hanging out in casual attire. It is obvious from his outward looks that the man is not someone to mess with, and he carries himself to the part.

General Overview
Above all other motivations, ambition is the one that drives Aeson Kronos forward. He does not merely wish for more power, his desire to increase his status in the world is the very thing that drives him forward. The inferiority of his specific colony has plagued him for long, a feeling instilled on him from his youth, and now as the previous status of the colonies don't matter anymore, he is going to use the situation to his advantage to the best of his ability. Aeson is a ruthless, calculating man who views the world as a chessboard and it's inhabitants as the pieces that populate it. He does not look upon weakness favorably, unless it is a quality that his opposition possesses, and is determined to remove it completely from anyone close to him. He values competence and skills, and doesn't really care about other things in a person as long as they can do their job. Unlike most politicans he isn't willing to play any parts in order to achieve what he wants – this is a man who gets through in live through intimidation and influence, not by making friends and throwing out compliments. He will not budge in an argument or give any ground to those who oppose him. While he has a temper, he doesn't show it to those around him, preferring to keep all potential weaknesses hidden. He does this to advantages as well, revealing them only when it is the most beneficial to him. Morals have little meaning to Aeson and there is not much he is not willing to do to strengthen his political position. However, he is not a needlessly cruel man. He will not carry out an action unless it gives him an advantage, and he takes no specific pleasure in the misfortune of others.

Strenghts: Good in achieving influence through legal or illegal means. His criminal past has taught him how to press the buttons of people in just the right way to make them do what he wants. He is intelligent and competent, though by no means a scholar. Weaknesses: He does believe in his own capabilities a bit too much, thinking that nobody is smart enough to outdo him. His ambition is his driving force, and he may lost the sight of other things when he tries to achieve something.

Aeson Kronos was born in the colony of Leonis, firstborn son to Chrion and Electra Kronos. His father was quite high when it came to the inner politics of Leonis, but due to the situation of the colony after the civil war with Picon, Scorpia and Caprica, there was no way for him to rise higher due to Leonid being a political non-entity in Colonial goverment. Over time he grew bitter and resentful to the status quo and founded the Leonis Liberation Front, a radical right-wing political party that sought to free Leonid from it's subservience to Picon. They attempted to achieve this through terrorism and intimidation, but Picon, with the support of the Colonial Military quickly tracked them down and threw them all to prison.

Now alone with his mother and brother, Aeson was left to support his family, and not through hard work at the shipyards either. Quickly getting tied up with the criminal underground of the colony, he proved to be smarter and more ruthless then his enemies, building up his power base and influence. In a dozen years he had risen to be the head of his own criminal empire. Skilled enough to maintain an public image where he appeared to be legal, though somewhat suspicious businessman, he followed his fathers footsteps to politics...but instead of terrorist attacks, he used money and intimidation to achieve political power, and was not above getting rid of his opponents the same way that he had gotten rid of his criminal opponents. His brother became his right hand and main lieutenant on his way to power.

His ways worked better then his father's ways, and he was actually capable of making the situation of Leonis a bit better, bringing it to the attention to the rest of the colonies...while taking out his own share of the money and contracts that sympathetic individuals and entities threw to his way, investing it into his criminal enterprise. Nevertheless, none of this ever reached the limelight of the public and he became immensely popular in Leonis. He was respected in other colonies as well, but his personality did not clash well with the people from there.

Aeson was travelling aboard his own personal ship, The Argonaut, assisted by two other ships he owned when the attacks on the colonies happened. He managed to join up with the Fleet together with other civilian ships together with his brother, all the crew and civilians on his board – he had been transporting a large number of people from his home planet to attend an event on Caprica to celebrate the establishment of a new Leonis embassy. The people on his ships viewed him as somewhat of a savior as nearly every Leonid that survived the attacks had been aboard his ships.

As the most prominent and politically experienced Leonid within the Fleet, he was the obvious choice when the representatives to the new Quorum were chosen, and became the Leonis Representative to the Quorum of Twelve.

 

The former leader of the Leonid Democratic Party – he took over his father's radical party and transformed it into a more acceptable entity. Now that only a few party members remain and the Leonids are more unified then ever – he is the de facto political leader of the Leonids anyway.

Head of Kronos Industries, the business front for his criminal empire. It was a company dealing in manufacturing of industrial parts for the vast shipyards of Leonis. Aside from few assets, the company's structure has been destroyed and it lives in name only.

Captain of the passenger/luxury liner Argonaut, owner of the freighters Trojan Horse and Hephaestus, the last remaining ships of the once mighty trade fleet of Kronos Industries.
