Physical Description		Joshua has been graced, physically, by the lords of Kobol from a very young age. He was born with an almost full head of blonde hair, which no one in his family had ever experience during birth. All children born in his family before and after Joshua have been born bald. Growing up Joshua grew into very good looks, the good weather on Aquaria gave him a slightly tanned complexion, only due to the fact he still burns when exposed to very high heat. Joshua stands tall at 6 foot exactly, standing tall over many humans. He always stands with a sense of pride, never slouching, which gives the illusion of him being than he actually is. Joshua has a light skin tone that matches the pale blonde hair that sits on top of his head. His eyes are a piercing cerulean blue that are slightly off set, his right high is a fraction higher than his left, it is noticeable, but only if you look closely at Joshua’s face. His face is well defined with high cheekbones and a prominent nose, almost pointing out. His lips are a normal size and a cherry red in colour. Joshua is not overly athletic or muscular. He tries to keep in shape, but he is partial to the odd indulgence. His body is lean.

General Overview
Joshua is quite the ladies man, always flirting with women he meets. Joshua always has a smile on his lips when he is in the presence of friends. However, this can sometimes be a mask for his insecurities. Joshua always gives off a sense of confidence when dealing with the media or the public; it sees it as his duty to remain calm and confident while serving the people. In private, Joshua is slightly reserved; not always being as extrovert as he is in public situations. Though in essence he will always be the confident, ladies man who likes to get his own way. Joshua dresses to impress. He will always be wearing the best clothes you can buy in the Fleet or from the Colonies. He will wear tailored suits and shirts while in the public eye. Outside of the public eye he will wear designer jeans, casual shirts. Plus a pair of brogues are always worn on his feet.
Strengths & Weaknesses
One of Joshua’s strengths is his drive in everything he does. From a young age he was taught to do everything to the best of his abilities, if he didn’t then there was no point doing a half-hearted task. Also, his political mind is a great strength; he has a knack for political thinking. Joshua’s main weakness is his temper. If he doesn’t get exactly what he wants or someone is against him he has been known to rise to the bait quite quickly. Something he has been working on greatly since his entry into public politics.
Ambitions
The Presidency is Joshua’s main ambition currently. He plans to run at the next election.

Born on Aquaria, to a well off family, Joshua has always been privileged in life. His father was the CEO of an exclusive holiday resort on the main continent of Aquaria, while Joshua’s mother was the family accountant, allowing her earn a wage but still raise her children. From a young age, and being the youngest, he was spoiled greatly by his mother. With a six year gap between him and his nearest aged sibling his mother saw Joshua as her last chance to get a child right. Her first child, Julie, was somewhat the black sheep of the family, leaving home very young to go to Caprica to make a new life for herself. Joshua had little contact with Julie growing up, plus the ten year age difference never helped their relationship. She would always bully him before she left at the age of seventeen. Joshua’s brother, Gerald, was groomed from an early age to go into the family business by their father. Gerald did eventually go into the family business as an apprentice to their father, turning down a promising scholarship to study at the University of Tauron.

Joshua’s mother wanted something different for him. She wanted him to pursue his own ambitions. At school he was always a promising student, doing well on tests, especially the sciences. His mother always believed he was to go on to become a doctor, and subconsciously always pushed him in that direction. His mother smothered Joshua as a teenager, rarely letting him to go out until his schoolwork and any extra work was done and completed to a good standard, plus she doted upon him immensely. Always willing to do anything for him it had given him a selfish sense of self. He was always able to get anything he wanted and that attitude has stayed with him for a long time.

His mother’s pushing was answered when he applied to go to University. Applying to study medicine at Delphi University, though when he arrived and he was no longer doted upon it was a shock to his system. It took Joshua a while to adjust to not being the centre of attention. A few weeks of being on his own, an argument and he finally settled into a group of students. Half way through his first year at University he found a new passion; Politics. He entered elected student politics in his second year of University after deciding to drop medicine and study Politics as well, much to his mother’s dismay. He excelled greatly on his new course, though slightly naïve and idealistic in his view of how he acted in politics. Alongside his course he was an elected representative of his university, his position was assistant welfare officer. His mandate was to support the welfare officer in ensuring equality was paramount throughout his campus.

He served under the same officer for two years, until he ran against the officer in a by-election when a motion of no confidence was passed. He gained a large amount of support from the student body and won the race with sixty seven percent of the vote. With only two years left of his degree he stayed in the welfare officer position for a year and then ran for President of his student’s union, which he won. By this time, he had amassed a large amount of support, as well as being in the top of his class. Everything seemed to be almost too good to be true. He served as President of his student union for a year and when he graduated he stepped down from the position.

Leaving University he was set on a career in Politics. Deciding to stay in Caprica he got a job as a political researcher and analyst. At the age of twenty seven he was fully qualified political analyst, but he longed to be in public politics. When he turned thirty, his father died of a heart attack, which made him rethink his life. He was getting into public politics and that was that in his mind. He managed to become a low level politician at regional level in Caprica City. He remained there for two year until the Cylon attack. Luckily he was travelling from Caprica to visit his mother on Aquaria when the attack occurred. Travelling aboard the Elysium, he was forced to let go of his family and embrace the new fleet. He has heard nothing of his family, either dead or alive.

Under President Jackson Joshua attempted to gain a position in her government, but she wouldn’t appoint him as a minister, despite his qualifications. He had always openly opposed her policies when she was Secretary of the Environment, hence her not appointing him to any position. While she was President, he never spoke out against her too greatly, yet he was always on hand to offer a commentary on her action. With the new presidency of President Halley-Riker, Joshua has begun to push himself forward politically. As he asserted himself he attracted he attention of two major politicians; the President and the new Vice-President. With Joshua and Rondelle close in age, and alumi of Delphi University he instantly forged a personal and political relationship with her, which he has worked to his advantage. With a space in her government Rondelle Halley-Riker appointed him as her Secretary of State.
